Our stalker film

This week we learnt how to use cameras and tripods in order to create our own short film. Firstly we came up with the idea for our stalker film. Then we came up with a camera angle list noting down all angles and shot types we would be using. We stuck to the shot types when filming. Although we didn't have time to finish shoting out last shot, the shot we used for our ending was good enough to use. we took more than one take of some shots so we could pick the best to use for our film, because this would allow more choices if we didn't think the first clip we took was suitable.  We think the film had pace and a good creepy look to it, this is also effected with the audio we used. We could improve how the shots linked so it wouldn't look so jumpy.

Lesson one

What skills we will be learning/learned about over the next couple of weeks?
In our group is Ellie Walker, Conor Daly and Nassir Gulahmad
Well so far, we have done a small amount of editing on a film called film Van Helsing.

Over the next few weeks we are going to learn how to start using the camera, make up deciding a location for the recreation of a film made by previous AS students. We will also be working on the genre of horror film we want to do for our pice of coursework. this will also help on developing our own story-bored and taking ideas from others and changing them to suit our own idea.

How we will be assessed?

By half term we hope to have recreated 30 to 40 seconds of horror film from previous students. And we will have hopped to have decided our final groups and what type of film what we will be doing.
